Three manufacturing verticals. Audited plant-level results — not capability decks.
Procurement leaders and Heads of Industry 4.0 don't need another slide on what AI could do. Below is what Rowi has actually shipped across automotive, chemical, and food & beverage plants in DACH and the Benelux — line types served, reference plants contacted, and the OEE and commissioning figures an independent auditor would sign off on.
Automotive — discrete assembly, body-in-white, and final lines.
Rowi is the integrator 19 automotive plants in DACH and the Benelux call when the consulting deck has to become a running stamping press or BIW cell by Friday. Our edge runtime speaks Siemens, Beckhoff, and Schneider natively, which is why four DAX-listed manufacturers keep us on retainer.
- 11.0 → 4.3 weeks average commissioning on BIW robotic cells (audited by Fraunhofer IOSB-INA, 2023).
- OPC UA + Profinet handshakes against Siemens TIA Portal v18 and Beckhoff TwinCAT 3.1 — verified across 412 lines.
- Gold-tier certified system integrator for Siemens, Beckhoff, and Schneider Electric since 2017.
Chemical — batch and continuous process lines, with verified MTBI and Weihenstephan compliance.
Continuous reactors, batch changeovers, and CIP sequences don't tolerate unplanned downtime. Rowi's FlowEngine™ runtime is the only edge-control layer in our segment to publish OPC UA, PackML, and Weihenstephan standard compliance in a single reference architecture — endorsed by the VDMA Working Group 4.0.
- 9,400+ hour mean-time-between-incidents across deployed chemical lines (audited 2024).
- Weihenstephan standard compliance for cleaning, sterilization, and recipe handling — built into every release.
- 14-minute average P1 response from our in-house 24/7 NOC (38 control engineers on rota).
Food & Beverage — bottling, filling, and packaging lines. Our strongest reference base.
This is the vertical where the 62% commissioning compression and the 11.4-point OEE lift were originally proven. 17 F&B plants in DACH and the Benelux run FlowEngine™ today — bottling 0.33 L to 1.5 L PET and glass, filling carbonated, still, and aseptic, and packaging at speeds most integrators won't quote.
- 62% commissioning compression (11 → 4.2 weeks), the headline figure in the 2023 Fraunhofer IOSB-INA audit.
- 11.4-point average OEE lift within 90 days, verified across 47 reference plants.
- ISO 9001:2015 + IEC 62443-4-1 certified — audited 2024 by TÜV Süd.
Audited performance across all three verticals. The numbers your evaluation matrix needs.
Aggregated from 47 reference plants and 84 deployments between 2021 and 2024. None of these figures are projections — each is taken from a signed acceptance protocol or an independent auditor's report.
What procurement leaders and Heads of Industry 4.0 ask before booking a process audit.
Five questions, in the order they tend to come up. If yours isn't here, write to [email protected] and a solutions engineer will respond within one business day.
-
01 — How do I know Rowi is a fit for our specific plant mix?
The 60-minute on-site audit starts with a line walk. Our solutions engineer maps your PLC estate, recipe structure, and current OEE baseline against the 47 audited reference plants — automotive, chemical, or F&B — before quoting scope. There is no deck and no obligation at this stage; you receive a written baseline report within five business days.
-
02 — Can we visit a reference plant before signing?
Yes. 38 of the 47 audited reference plants have agreed to host qualified buyers under NDA — roughly 4–6 per quarter, scheduled on a first-confirmed basis. We coordinate the visit, travel logistics, and the technical Q&A; you bring the evaluation matrix.
-
03 — What does Rowi's compliance scope actually cover?
Rowi GmbH is ISO 9001:2015 and IEC 62443-4-1 certified (audited 2024 by TÜV Süd), and our FlowEngine™ runtime ships with full OPC UA, PackML, and Weihenstephan standard compliance built in. We do not operate in pharma drug manufacturing, medical-device production, or aerospace flight systems — those regulated verticals are explicitly out of scope.
-
04 — What is the integration footprint on a typical line?
An average deployment touches 1 edge controller per line, 2–6 OPC UA bridges to existing PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider, Rockwell), and one supervisor node. The hardware bill is itemised in the audit report; Rowi does not mark up third-party hardware.
-
05 — What does the 60-minute on-site visit actually deliver?
A written baseline report within five business days covering: current OEE breakdown, two prioritised line-level opportunities, an indicative commissioning and ROI range based on the closest audited reference plant, and a fixed-quote path to a proof-of-value sprint. The visit itself is free and there is no obligation to proceed.
